Vijay (Subhash Ghai) is the son of a freedom fighter who dedicates his life to serve the nation. He feels that social evils such as black marketing and corruption have no space in free India. However, his brother Ajay (Ramesh Deo) cheats to live an affluent lifestyle. Where will his fight against crime, corruption and other social evils lead him? The film is a tribute to the martyrs of India and is one of the few films that feature Subhash Ghai in lead. It also boasts of all time favorite patriotic songs like Vaishnav Jan Ko and Sambhalo Ae Watan Walo Watan Apna.
